Looking to grow your skills with your dog in real life settings? Need the help and support of a trainer and like-minded dog owners to do so? We got you!
Owning a reactive dog can be an isolating and even depressing experience. Maybe you got your dog to be more social and get out more, but now that you have them, life doesn’t look exactly like you thought it would. If you’ve ever felt embarrassed or ashamed to take your dog in public, If you’ve ever gotten home from a walk thinking to yourself: “what the heck was that?”, then we are the group for you!
We host free community events and classes every month to give our pack members to opportunity to learn, practice and grow their skills and relationships with their dogs. At our events we don’t judge or put you in positions you and your dog can’t handle. We are here to help you and your dog work through your BIG feelings and give you the skills and knowledge to support your dog better in the future.
Our events are always thoughtfully curated and structured to allow dogs and owners in ALL stages of training to succeed. All of our events are led by experienced trainers who are both knowledgeable and equipped to provide you with the support you and your dog both need and deserve.

Coffee with Dogs
Calling all coffee loving dog owners! Join us for a fun, safe and enjoyable morning of socialization with our dogs. We will grab some coffee, have a short walk together and engage in some fun, goal-oriented exercises with our dogs around our community. These events are structured and led by skilled trainers. We welcome dogs and owners in all stages of their training journey to attend.
Glow Paws Pack Walk
Join us for our monthly Community Pack Walk. This month's event will be held in the evening and be Glow themed. Please wear your best glow in the dark and light up collars, leashes, shoes, clothes, etc. This event is designed to be a place where dogs and owners in all stages of their training journey can get together and practice safe and structured socialization skills with their dogs. We have skilled professional trainers on hand to offer you and your dog guidance throughout the events. We take the extra steps to help owners and dogs find connection and build confidence in ways they thought were never possible!
Water Park Swim Pawty
Join us at Country Kennel's private dog water park for an afternoon of training, swimming and fun with the dogs. Humans are free to join. Dogs are $45/dog.

Sit. Stay. Paddle SUP PUPS Event
This event is open to the public. You do not need to be a current client of Ruby's Dog Lodge or Take The Lead LLC to attend. Join us for a fun and enjoyable evening on the water with Samantha from SUP PUPS San Diego!
